Personal data collected by us
We collect personal data in various ways, e.g. via our websites and social media channels, at events organised by us, via telephone, in job applications and in connection with face-to-face meetings and in the course of interactions with customers and suppliers.

Depending on the nature of the business relationship, we may also collect the following personal data in particular:

Contact information (e.g. name, postal address, email address and telephone number);
username and password if you register on our websites or in our apps.
Contact details of persons you want us to contact on your behalf (we assume that these persons have given their prior consent for this transfer); and other information that you provide to us, e.g. in surveys or via the ‘Contact’ function on our websites.
In addition, we collect, process and store the personal data provided by you as an applicant, employee or freelancer in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG-new). In addition, when you apply or set up an application account, we may collect these types of personal data to the extent permitted by national law:

Professional career and educational background,
List of projects;
Language skills and other job-related skills;
National insurance number, national identification number or other identification numbers issued by the authorities;
Date of birth;
Gender;
Account information;
Nationality and work permit status;
Information on social benefits;
tax information;
Information from references and information contained in your CV, as well as information you provide to us about your professional interests and other information about your professional qualifications.
As well as, if this is explicitly required by law, or with your consent:

Disability and health-related information;
Results of drug tests, criminal record checks and other background checks.
In addition, we may collect information that you provide to us about other people, e.g. emergency contact details. If an employment or service contract is concluded with you, we will collect, process and store personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG-neu), in particular in accordance with Section 26 BDSG-neu, Article 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (fulfilment of contract) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR and Article 9 GDPR, which you have provided to us as an employee or independent consultant or which arise during your employment or service relationship, insofar as this is necessary to fulfil our contractual and/or legal obligations.
